Emmi still has a rather long recovery ahead of her...she will be at home at least an additional 2 weeks with follow up appts in May and June. But being at home, despite its chaos is the best medicine in all the world!
For me it's jumping back into cleaning and massive amounts of laundry..but for today I am doing nothing besides enjoying having my family all back together again...and sleeping a good long time in my nice comfy bed;)
The other stuff can wait.
I am so incredibly grateful for all the people who have supported us thru all of this.
The prayers, the visits, the gifts that made my girl smile, the child care, the FOOD, the last minute oh my gosh can you take care of this for me texts...the texts, phone calls, the messages on Facebook and here. You all supported us so incredibly much these past two weeks!!
I am so grateful for all of that and so much more! So many of you took the time and effort to support us in numerous ways! We feel incredibly and unbelievably loved...
I will continue to post here regarding emmis recovery at home, not as often...but once a day or so. We start a a quiet new normal around here filled with medication times and special diets but that is temporary and we are hoping and praying that this is the last time we have to ever go thru this again.
We are so incredibly blessed! And all of you have done things for us that we will always be incredibly grateful for!
Love,
Amy
