She is done

She is out of surgery and just got transferred to the ICU.  This worried mama hasn't gotten to see her yet, but soon!   The valve looks good and so now we wait.  As usual the next 48 hours are the most critical but at this point Dr T is "cautiously optimistic"...but he did smile which is always a good sign for things.

He did find an issue we did not expect.  Evidently there was a hole between the atriums that was not known about.  He closed it, but he thinks that may have played a role I the stroke the last time.  It was barely detectable on the echo, but he was able to find it.

I will find more out later regarding that, for now I am content that she is safe and am anxious to see her
